Greenland

Greenland is an amazing place. As beautiful as it is hard to get to and around!

As long as you don't mind taking tiny 30 seater planes between towns, then this should really be on many a bucket list.

Western Greenland has so much to offer, a lot of which is ice based! Hike glaciers, marvel at icebergs, go whale watching or dog sledding in the winter.

Not all of Greenland is above the artic circle so you can be there without the 24 hour sun/night if you prefer.

Untouched wilderness, beautiful ice-scapes and massive icebergs and a surprisingly large amount of wildlife (which does include polar bears). Practice your night sky photography in the winter months, capture migrating birds in summer or try to aim for the twilight months for those beautiful purple sunrise/sunset shots!
